Antitrust and Competition laws regulate the same behaviors though they are named differently in different countries. In Nepal the term “competition” is more commonly used. These laws are the collection of laws that regulate and conduct an organization or business corporation. Whether it is called antitrust or competition, the main goal of these laws are generally to promote fair competition for the benefit of consumers. Competition laws are the laws that apply to virtually all industries and to every level of business, including manufacturing, transportation, distribution and marketing.
